Brand Identity
Facet Design Studio is an architectural studio created and led by local Columbus entrepreneur, mom and architect. The brand is strong and geometric in nature, but with slightly rounded edges conveying a subtle femininity. The icon originated from overlapping initials, MAS, and incorporates colors from the client’s baby’s mobile, a major “yellow door” moment in Facet’s brand story. Without being too literal, the design showcases asymmetrical facets that represent the client’s agility and well rounded architectural skill set. The clean lines, simplicity and color blocking along with the quilted graphic derivative is a nod towards Scandinavian style, which heavily influenced Megan in her education and travel.
