Experiential Design
To celebrate 100 years of leadership and innovation in sustainable scrap metal recycling, we partnered with Creatives on Call to design a branded physical experience for Cohen Recycling’s headquarters in Middletown, Ohio.
The feature wall is a bold, dimensional timeline wall that highlights key milestones from Cohen’s century-long journey to becoming one of the nation’s largest ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal recyclers. Layered materials and black-and-white imagery create visual hierarchy and depth, while the milestones selected showcase their humble beginnings, forward motion and enduring impact.
Adjacent to the timeline, a complementary photo-driven wall showcases the metal recycling process—from raw scrap to reusable resource—illustrating the transformation central to Cohen’s mission.
Together, the two walls tell a compelling story of innovation, sustainability, and community commitment. Rooted in Cohen’s values—“Family Owned. Community Driven. People Powered.”—this installation creates a striking first impression and deepens visitors’ understanding of the company’s purpose and legacy.
